Our Lady’s Primary School Princethorpe, WarwickshireA team visited Our Lady's in June 2010 to speak at the Friday assembly on the theme of Caring and Sharing. The Gospel of Matt 14 v 15-21 and a story of Stone Soup involving the whole assembly, helped get the message across of the caring parish family. One elderly former carer and now volunteer, shared his story about how he cared for his late wife and how he used to sing to her. The children and the parents really warmed to him.
The school, much to our surprise, had already been busy raising funds through cake sales and presented us with a cheque for £141.10 and also adopted the Pastoral Care Project as one of their charities for the next school year 2010-2011.
